Love Island fans have called on Michael Owen to step in to "save" his daughter Gemma after noticing Luca Bish's "jealous" behaviour on the ITV dating show. During Sunday 17 July evening's episode, viewers saw fishmonger Luca, 23, fuming over scenes played out between Gemma, 19, and Billy Brown, 23, in which he claimed she was "flirting".
Interrogating Gemma, he accused her of "entertaining it," which she denied before admitting she and Billy had a "flirty chat". Despite this, she insisted: "I don’t think any lines have been crossed.” Now, viewers have taken to Twitter to urge her dad, former professional footballer Michael, 42, to step in as one person shared: "Can @themichaelowen please step in and save his daughter from this scary man! #LoveIsland".
Another said: "If Gemma and Luca's relationship progresses, Michael Owen needs to step in! Luca won't be happy until Gemma's only looking at the floor! #loveisland". A third added: "@themichaelowen please please step in and stop Gemma making a mistake with a complete nut job! Luca is every young girls nightmare #loveisland".
