Love Island: Aftersun viewers have called for the show’s new VIP bar to be named in honour of Caroline Flack. Caroline hosted the ITV2 dating show from 2015 to 2019. She stepped down as host in December 2019 after she was charged with assaulting her then-boyfriend Lewis Burton at her home in London.
Current host – and Caroline’s friend - Laura Whitmore then took over hosting duties for the winter version of the show, which aired in January 2020 and took place in South Africa. Caroline tragically passed away at her home in February 2020 at the age of 40. And following the star’s death, fans of Love Island think Aftersun’s new VIP bar should be named in tribute to her.
