Louis Saha has urged Manchester United not to give up on Harry Kane this summer as the Tottenham striker would 'guarantee' 30 goals and a major trophy every season.
Kane had been earmarked as Erik ten Hag's prime striker target as far back as March, with the Dutchman desperate to add more goals to his squad. United's 58 Premier League goals was the lowest of the top six last season, and only Marcus Rashford reached double figures with 17 goals.
But with a growing understanding that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will not entertain any offers for his talisman, especially from Premier League rivals, Ten Hag quickly moved on. He now has focused efforts on Hojlund and United are optimistic they can bring the 20-year-old to Old Trafford before the new season kicks off.

The Danish international is a hugely promising talent and Saha believes he would be a success, but for former Reds frontman hopes there is still some attention going Tottenham's way.
"I’m sure that behind the scenes at Manchester United the first target is still Harry Kane, or at least it should be," Saha told Betting Odds. "When you look at the profile of Hojlund, he’s tall, athletic and has a great left foot.
