ITV presenter Lorraine Kelly isn’t afraid of a daring colour or two, and her latest outfit perfectly demonstrates how to tap into the latest Barbiecore trend that’s sweeping the globe. For her morning presenting gig on Monday, Lorraine wowed in a fuchsia pink pleated midi dress from Phase Eight, with fans raving about how much she suits a bold colour. The Petra Wrap Pleated Midi Dress, £135 here, comes in a vibrant, shocking pink and features a wrap over front and flared mid-length skirt, complete with matching belt which ties at the waist to show off Lorraine’s figure.
The pleated material adds some extra volume, and the long sleeves are cuffed at the wrists to give a subtle puff sleeve shape, whilst the skirt features a high-low hemline in a light chiffon-style material. The bright pink shade is perfect for nailing the current Barbiecore trend that’s started thanks to the impending release of Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie later this month. Lorraine paired her dress with a pair of pointed toe heels in a similar shocking pink colour, and fans couldn’t get enough of her outfit.
After posting a photo of herself in the ensemble on Instagram, her fans flocked to the comments to compliment Lorraine on her outfit. “Beautiful colour! You suit bright colours! Love Phase Eight.” said one fan, whilst another agreed: “These jewel colours really suit you x” Another shared that they’d also bought the dress for a special occasion, writing: “I wore this to Royal Ascot last week. I agree the sizing is on the large size though.

ITV is switching up its usual daytime schedule this week which will see viewers' favourite shows taken off air. As part of a major shake-up, Good Morning Britain, This Morning, Lorraine and Loose Women have each been cancelled on Monday (July 24), with some shows remaining off-air for the rest of the week.
Margot Robbie appeared in her first movie back in 2009, and in less than 15 years she’s landed starring roles in some of the era’s biggest blockbusters.
Greta Gerwig had a clear vision for the story she wanted to tell with Barbie and rejected the idea of cutting a scene with Margot Robbie and an older woman on a bench.
Jem Aswad Executive Editor, Music Whether it’s a soundtrack, a score or a song placement, there are countless wrong ways to do music for film and so few ways to make it feel right. There’s very little leeway, which is why it can be so challenging for even the most successful hitmakers to make the transition to film music — especially with a major film event like “Barbie.” With albums and songs by Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Bruno Mars and many others under his belt, seven-time Grammy-winning producer Mark Ronson is one of the most successful pop songwriter-producers working today, yet his work on the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig’s summer blockbuster “Barbie” film — for which he co-wrote and co-produced five songs, cowrote the score with longtime collaborator Andrew Wyatt, and served as an executive music producer — was a new experience.
Lorraine Kelly is once again being pelted with criticism after deciding to reveal her talkshow guest Anne Reid's age after being specifically asked to do the opposite. Closing out their chat, the 63 year old Scottish presenter said to the camera: "I promised Anne I wouldn't say her age, but all I will say [is] if you played bingo; two fat ladies. "That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying! Anne, thank you." The face of Anne, whose CV includes Last Tango in Halifax, Coronation Street and The Sixth Commandment, was one of surprise, while viewers posting on Twitter were quick to call out Lorraine for her behaviour.
Barbiecore is the trend of summer 2023, and for good reason. We’ve all fallen in love with Margot Robbie, Issa Rae, Dua Lipa and the rest of the long list of Barbies in Greta Gerwig’s soon-to-premiere film. They’ve all been seen rocking pink looks on the red carpet (and in film snippets), but they’re not the only ones.
After months of waiting, the movie event of the year is finally imminent: Barbenheimer.
Rebecca Rubin Film and Media Reporter Over a single weekend, 28-year-old Toronto resident Daniel Konikoff will experience two life-changing events. On July 23, he’s getting married. Two days before, he’s going to the movies with his bride-to-be and their entire wedding party for a double feature of Greta Gerwig’s very pink romp “Barbie” and Christopher Nolan’s extremely dark historical drama “Oppenheimer.” “It stemmed from a joke, and then we started to actually create a plan,” Konikoff says. “So, the double bill is a little wedding-adjacent party.” As soon as the second movie lets out at 1 a.m. — “it’s bed!” he adds. “And then we drive to the venue. There’s not a lot of sleep, but you gotta do what you gotta do.”
This Morning viewers claim to have spotted the show's new 'permanent hosts' ahead of the show being cancelled. The ITV daytime programme returned to screens on Monday (July 17) with Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary at the helm.

It’s the latest in a line of meta moments in and around the WB film, with Robbie posing — in a custom Schiaparelli gown that paid homage to 1960’s “Solo in the Spotlight Barbie” — alongside Minaj, who has proclaimed herself a Barbie since the early days of her career. Minaj’s latest track “Barbie World” — a collab with Ice Spice that remixes Aqua’s 1997 hit “Barbie Girl” — serves as the film’s end title song.
