Karol G’s ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ Makes Latin Music History With Launch to No. 1

Thania Garcia Karol G’s deeply introspective “Mañana Será Bonito” has made a historic entrance on the albums chart as the first all-Spanish-language record by a female artist to hit No. 1. The collection — which spans pop, rock, reggaeton, Mexican music and electronica — is also the Colombian artist’s first leader on the Billboard 200. All four of Karol’s studio albums have charted on the all-genre Billboard 200, though “Mañana” is the first to enter the top 10 of the list. Before this, Karol’s highest charting effort was her last 2021 record, “KG0516,” which reached a peak of No. 20. Only two other all-Spanish albums have previously led the list, both were by reggaeton titan Bad Bunny (“Un Verano Sin Ti” in 2022 and “El Ultimo Tour del Mundo” in 2020).

I went to the National Lottery's Big Night of Musicals at the AO Arena and was left blown away by the UK's theatre scene

As someone who'll openly admit that they spend more time than is normal sat in a theatre, when I found out that The National Lottery's Big Night of Musicals was coming to the 12,000-seater AO Arena in Manchester, I knew there was absolutely no way I could miss it. The casts of thirteen of the UK's biggest musicals all under one roof, along with some special surprises, all hosted by the city's own Jason Manford - how could I say no?

Brendan Fraser Nearly Died on ‘The Mummy’ Set, Got ‘Choked Out Accidentally’ During Hanging Scene: ‘The World Went Sideways’

Zack Sharf Digital News Director Brendan Fraser revealed on a recent episode of “The Kelly Clarkson Show” that he had a near-death experience during a stunt gone wrong while filming “The Mummy.” The Oscar nominee said he was “choked out accidentally” during a scene in which he had to be hanged with a rope. “I was standing on my toes like this with the rope and you only got so far to go,” Fraser said. “Stephen [Sommers, the director] ran over and he said, ‘Hey, it doesn’t really look like your choking. Can you sell it?’” The production team filmed one more take. Fraser said, “The camera swooped around and I went up on the toes and the guy holding the rope above me, he pulled it up a little higher and I was stuck on my toes and I had nowhere to go but down. So he was pulling up and I was going down. And then the next thing I knew, my elbow was in my ear, the world was sideways and there was gravel in my teeth.”

This is how much Joe Goldberg’s ‘You’ London lifestyle would cost in real life

You‘s fourth season would rack up significant debt, it has been estimated. The recently-released episodes of the hit Netflix show sees Penn Badgley‘s psychopath stalker relocate to the UK capital under the alias of university professor Jonathan Moore.Fans have noted how his lifestyle living in a Kensington mews apartment on a professor’s salary seems unrealistic, and according to King Casino Bonus, the overall estimated costs would indeed be unaffordable.A typical local professor’s salary would be on average £45,923, or £2,740 a month, after tax and pension deductions, while the rent at his apartment would likely be £2,240 a month, leaving only £500 each month. However, some of that would go towards council tax (£161 with a single persons’ discount), plus an average of £264 in utility bills in London, around £44 in broadband and £46 a month for his mobile plan would set him back further. On top of that would be an average of £296 in groceries, meaning overall he would exceed his monthly salary by £312, and incur £3,744 in debt by the end of the year.“Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Season 4 of You – not least because it’s in a refreshing new setting,” said King Casino Bonus.“After the season debuted, fans took to Twitter to express their amusement that Joe is seemingly surviving in one of the most expensive parts of London on a lecturer’s salary – and without a PhD or any meaningful qualifications, no less.“It’s no surprise then that the reality is that he’d be in significant debt.

S Club 7 tease new music and share their love of Wet Leg

S Club 7 have discussed the possibility of returning to the studio after announcing a reunion tour in celebration of their 25th anniversary. The pop group have reunited once before, for a UK arena tour in 2015, but haven’t released any new music since their 2003 farewell single ‘Love Ain’t Gonna Wait For You’ / ‘Say Goodbye’.At a press conference in London earlier this week (February 14), band member Jon Lee described the prospect of adding to their discography as “exciting”.“It’s something that we have spoken about and something that we would all be up for, but at the minute we’re just seeing how the tour goes first,” Lee added.During their original run, S Club 7 released four studio albums and scored 11 consecutive UK Top Five hits with bangers including ‘Bring It All Back’, ‘Never Had A Dream Come True’, ‘Don’t Stop Movin”, ‘Natural’ and ‘Reach’.However, the band confirmed this week that there is still space in their setlist for deep cuts. “We had loads of album tracks, B-sides [and] songs that were performed on the TV series that [our fans] have never seen us perform live before, so we’d love to hear via social media if there’s anything they would love to see,” Lee said.Meanwhile, Lee’s bandmate Tina Barrett revealed that she is a fan of Wet Leg after catching their performance at last weekend’s BRIT Awards.
