Lewis Capaldi set to headline Parklife festival in summer 2022

Lily Douglas who was laid to rest this afternoon. A celebration of the 14-year-old's life took place in an emotional service at St Matthew's Church on Tay Street, Perth, at 2. 30pm on Friday, February 11.

A celebration of life, organised as a public demonstration of love for Lily Douglas who sadly died in Perth on January 23, had special guest - her friends Lewis Capaldi and Dame Arlene Phillips.

XXXTentacion, titled Look At Me!, is set to make its premiere at this year’s SXSW festival.The film — directed by Sabaah Folayan and produced by FADER Films — was announced earlier this month. It follows the controversial career of XXXTentacion (AKA Jahseh Onfroy), a troubled teenager who left a lasting influence on the SoundCloud rap genre.“Look at Me! explores how Florida teenager Jahseh Onfroy became SoundCloud rapper XXXTENTACION, one of the most streamed artists on the planet,” reads the film’s synopsis.“Through frank commentary from family, friends and romantic partners, and unseen archival footage, director Sabaah Folayan offers a sensitive portrayal of an artist whose acts of violence, raw musical talent and open struggles with mental health left an indelible mark on his generation before his death at the age of 20.”The documentary will debut at the film festival segment of SXSW, which takes place in Austin, Texas, from March 11 to March 20.

Björk, Groove Armada and Metronomy are among the acts that have been announced as headliners for this year’s Bluedot Festival.The fifth instalment of the music, science and culture event is set to take place at Cheshire’s Jodrell Bank Observatory on July 21–24, 2022.The 2020 edition of Bluedot Festival was supposed to be headlined by Björk, Groove Armada and Metronomy but was postponed to 2021 because of COVID-19. Lewis Capaldi has announced a huge concert in Cardiff in the summer.The singer-songwriter is set to play at Alexandra Head in Cardiff Bay on July 20 as part of The Bay Series.
