Lewis Capaldi’s intimate ‘Behind The Music’ shows went on sale this morning at 10am but sold out in a matter of seconds.
The Scots singing sensation will take part in the live events in partnership with independent record stores across the country, to coincide with the release of his new album ‘Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent’.
Following the huge popularity of the events, Lewis added a second show at each venue and has thanked his fans for their incredible response in an Instagram post, in which he also hinted at more ’secret bits’ to be announced soon.
He wrote: "You sold them all out like as I refreshed the page at 10am on the dot. very very surreal. Thank you so much who managed to get a ticket for these."
Announcing the news initially, Lewis said the intimate gigs were going to help a great cause. Telling his fans on social media, he said: "UK pals! am SO excited to announce my smallest shows since 2017!!!! going to be doing a Q&A about the new album and singing a few tunes acoustically at some really small venues during album release week!!!!! is all supporting local record stores, tickets will be around £20 and include a copy of the album supporting your local record store!!! it all goes on sale this friday at 10AM at lewiscapaldi.com x."

Lewis Capaldi has said that he’d be willing to step away from music to protect his mental health if he had to.The artist admitted that fame has proved a detriment to his mental health, and if necessary, he wouldn’t rule out walking away to look after himself.Speaking to Rebecca Judd on Apple Music, he said: “I think on this album in particular I talk a bit more about my mental health, which has taken a beating over the last little while.“I’m managing it better now but I think in 2020 I was kind of glad when we got put in lockdown because I had done my first arena tour in the UK, and we had just done an Australia and Asia tour before that.“I was in a bad way where I was just having panic attacks every single day on stage and I was just shy,” he continued. “I still haven’t quite got there, but it’s interesting that this thing that you love to do and you’ve always wanted to do becomes something that causes you such distress, but such is the modern world.“”If I did another album and my head was scrambled and I felt horrible, right now I’m at a point where I can balance my mental health and how I feel in general.
