The life of Lynn, an 18-year-old college student from Loughborough with ambitions to become a forensic scientist, changed forever when she started a relationship with Chay Bowskill – it soon started to become increasingly coercive, controlling, as well as mentally abusive. Eventually, after she claimed that Bowskill had injured her by violently throwing her against a wall, Lynn took the decision to leave him. While what happened next is unclear, Lynn apparently fell out of a van driven by Bowskill.

Charna Flam Goldove Entertainment’s latest sci-fi thriller, “Lumina” has been acquired by Porter+Craig Film and Media, and is set to premiere with a wide-release theatrical campaign this summer. Gino McKoy wrote and directed the film the filmmaker and shot it entirely in Morocco. “Lumina” follows Alex, whose relationship with his dream girl Tatiana ends in a flash of a blinding light. Completely traumatized by the situation, Alex desperately sets off with his friends and conspiracy theorists to discover what really happened to his girlfriend. While traveling through the desert, Alex and his friends are faced with the unexpected, pushing the group to fight for their lives. “Lumina” stars Eric Roberts, Rupert Lazarus as Alex and Eleanor Williams as Tatiana, with additional cast members hailing from Hollywood to London. The film is produced by David Seychell, Gino, Lynda and Hudson McKoy. Academy Award-winning editor Thom Nobel serves as the production’s editor.

Lady Gaga is expected to make a surprise appearance at the Oscars on Sunday night to perform “Hold My Hand,” the Oscar-nominated song from “Top Gun: Maverick,” according to several insiders who spoke to Variety on the condition of anonymity. The decision seemed to be a last-minute back-and-forth effort as Gaga was initially reported to be skipping the awards show due to demands on filming “Joker: Folie à Deux.” Oscars executive producer and showrunner Glenn Weiss first stated that Gaga would not be performing during a creative team press conference on March 8. “We have a great relationship with Lady Gaga and her camp. She is in the middle of shooting a movie right now. Here, we are honoring the movie industry and what it takes to make a movie after a bunch of back and forth… It didn’t feel like she can get a performance to the caliber that we’re used to with her and that she is used to. So, she is not going to perform on the show,” Weiss said.

Angelique Jackson It’s been a big week for Mila Davis-Kent, the 10-year-old actor who stars opposite Michael B. Jordan, Tessa Thompson and Jonathan Majors in “Creed III.” Last Monday, she was getting glammed up for the film’s Los Angeles premiere, decked out in a hot pink, custom Elie Saab dress and throwing faux punches for photographers outside the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Inside the theater, Davis-Kent joined Jordan to introduce the film. “I just want to say I’m so lucky to be a part of this cast, this wonderful family. I got to work with wonderful people that I met,” Davis-Kent signed to the crowd, alongside her interpreter. “I hope that you enjoy the film, and I really hope that it will inspire you to learn American Sign Language.”
