Legendary dub and reggae soundsystem pioneer Jah Shaka has died

Ed Sheeran’s grandmother Ann Mary Sheeran has died. Ann Mary, known as Nancy by her nearest and dearest, inspired the hitmaker’s 2017 track Nancy Mulligan – Mulligan being his grandmother’s maiden name – and passed away peacefully at her care home in Ireland last Tuesday April 25. An obituary penned for his grandma hailed Nancy as a “beloved wife of the late Bill and loving mother of Jim, Bill, Peter, Chris, John, MaryAnne, Bridget and the late Sally and sister of the late Thomas, Jim, May and Peggy”.

The host of Masterchef Australia, Jock Zonfrillo, has died at the age of 46, his family have confirmed.The Zonfrillo family have released a statement saying that their hearts are "shattered" by the loss.The statement reads: "With completely shattered hearts and without knowing how we can possibly move through life without him, we are devastated to share that Jock passed away yesterday. Jerry Springer, the TV personality whose titular talk show helped launch a new and divisive era of reality television, has died, according to local news reports. He was 79 and passed away at his home in Chicago.

Dub and sound system legend Jah Shaka has died. His passing occurred today (April 12), his son confirmed in an Instagram post this afternoon. The cause of his death has not been disclosed, nor has his exact age at the time of his passing.
