The hit Channel 4 series, Derry Girls, will be coming to an end after the third season, creator Lisa McGee has confirmed. The Irish comedy series following a group of young Northern Irish teens growing up in The Troubles has received high critical praise since its release, becoming Channel 4’s most successful comedy series since Father Ted.

The Late Late Show launched its new season with a bang with appearances from Olympic champions to pop icons and the show also included a rousing tribute to the late and great Irish musician Dolores O’Riordan.
Ryan Tubridy was joined in the studio by Eileen O’Riordan, the mother of the late Cranberries singer, along with her former bandmate, drummer Fergal Lawler.
Viewers were treated to a spine-tingling rendition of a couple of the songs from the acclaimed Irish rock group including Dreams,
