‘Sound of Freedom’ is real, not QAnon fantasy says anti-trafficking hero who inspired hit

CBS News’ straight coverage of the real-life raid in Colombia that rescued over 50 children and inspired the movie. The sting operation was led by Tim Ballard, a former Homeland Security special agent from California. Having worked undercover on child trafficking cases formore than a decade, he quit his law enforcement job in 2013 to hunt down pedophiles abroad and free the children they enslaved. Zoe Saldaña Reveals Why She Almost Turned Down Her Role in 'Special Ops: Lioness' (Exclusive)

Taylor Swift ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ Vault Tracks Review: Key Co-Stars Include Hayley Williams, Fall Out Boy and… Grandmother Marjorie

Chris Willman Senior Music Writer and Chief Music Critic Sorry, Hayley Williams and Fall Out Boy: Marjorie has stolen the show again. Not that Taylor Swift’s beloved grandmother actually puts in a vocal appearance from the great beyond, as she did on the “Evermore” album three years ago. But Marjorie Finlay still manages to be a dominative force in the Vault Tracks for the newly released “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version),” by having her photos appear throughout the lyric video for the closing track, “Timeless,” and having her relationship with Taylor’s granddad be a focus of the inspirational ballad. Twenty-first-century pop-punk or emo can hardly compete with that emotional a capper. But for those less sentimentally inclined, Paramore’s singer and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump will be way up there in what Swift fans immediately take away from the six previously unheard compositions that have been appended to the previous 16-track running order of 2010’s “Speak Now.” The duet with Williams, “Castles Crumbling,” is particularly pungent, as a lament that just about could have been an outtake from the more recent “Folklore” or “Evermore” instead of an album that came out a full decade before those. As for the FOB-aided track, it’s the farthest thing from a Swift classic. But — having been written, like the rest of these tracks, when the artist was 18 or 19 — the number does hark back to an era when girls (and Fall Out Boys) could just wanna have fun.

‘1923’ Breakout Star Aminah Nieves Says Her Role Gives Her The Opportunity To “Share Honest And Real Stories” Of Indigenous People

Taylor Sheridan may have populated 1923 with mega-stars but it wasn’t just Harrison Ford or Helen Mirren who blew away viewers with a stirring performance. For the first time on TV, Sheridan depicted the dark legacy of Catholic boarding schools and how they dehumanized young indigenous women — one of whom is played by the courageous Aminah Nieves. While the Duttons were busy saving the ranch in one part of Montana, Nieves’ Teonna Rainwater was being held prisoner by savage, paddle-swinging nuns in another. Here, the Indiana-born newcomer recalls how hard it was to decide whether to accept such a life-changing role.

‘Yellowstone’ star on the show’s end: ‘I will celebrate it being over’

the Hollywood Reporter. “It’s so hot and combustible right now.”Bentley was referring to his role as as Jamie Dutton, the more political-minded attorney general son of family patriarch John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who has various dramas on the show, along with his siblings Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Beth (Kelly Reilly). However, he could have just as easily been referencing all the behind the scenes drama. Creator Taylor Sheridan, 53, and Costner, 68, have a rumored feud that’s been ongoing. Amid Costner’s surprise divorce, there were allegations that he refused to spend more than one week filming the second half of Season 5 — a claim that Costner’s attorney denied. A different source claimed that Sheridan was to blame for the friction, stating that the showrunner developed a “God complex” as his star rose. “Only Taylor truly knows what is going on,” a source told The Post. “Taylor spent years not being truly appreciated in Hollywood, and now that he’s the top of the heap, there’s definitely some ego to all of this.”A article in the Wall Street Journal detailed Sheridan’s “ridiculous spending,” which includes renting his own cattle to Paramount at $25 a head, and charging up to $50,000 a week for the show to film on ranches that he owns. He also reportedly insists on using his preferred farrier to make the horseshoes, and had the specialist flown out to Montana from Texas in order to get the job done. “Are you kidding me? We can’t find a local person?” wrote David Glasser, the head of 101 Studios, in an email to staff. Bentley did not directly address all these rumors, but he did say about the show’s end, “You just never know.
