Lady Gaga makes quick outfit change as she stuns at Critics Choice Awards in 'iconic' gown

Jem Aswad Senior Music EditorTony Bennett, whose duets album with Lady Gaga is up for five Grammys, has confirmed that he will not be performing with her at the show on Sunday night. Gaga was announced as a performer this morning; the pair are up for two of the top categories, Record of the Year and Album of the Year, for the song “I Get a Kick Out of You” and the album it comes from, “Love for Sale.”Danny Bennett, Tony’s son and longtime manager, says in a statement to Variety:“Tony is beyond thrilled, particularly at the young age of 95, to once again be recognized along with his musical collaborator  and  dear friend Lady Gaga by the Recording Academy for their album ‘Love for Sale.’  To have the album nominated in six categories including Album of the Year and Record of the Year is an incredible honor.

Bruce Willis’ family revealed on Wednesday (March 30) that the star has been diagnosed with aphasia and will be stepping away from his acting career, as the disease has begun to impair his cognitive abilities. His ex-wife, Demi Moore, took to her Instagram to share the devastating news, writing, “This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support.”

Squid Game has taken home two wins at the Critics Choice Awards.On Sunday (March 13), Squid Game cast members Lee Jung-jae, Jung Ho-yeon and Park Hae-soo attended the 27th Critics Choice Awards held in Los Angeles, where they took home two awards for the series.Lee, who played the series’ main character Seong Gi-hun, won Best Actor In A Drama Series for his performance, beating out Succession’s Brian Cox and Jeremy Strong, among others. “I’m grateful to an extent I can’t express,” said Lee during his acceptance speech, per Soompi.

Billie Eilish took home another award Sunday night, this time winning Best Original Song for «No Time to Die» from the James Bond film of the same name.Eilish, a seven-time GRAMMY winner, won the award alongside her brother and creative partner Finneas.Eilish was up against Beyonce, Jay Z and Kid Cudi, Ariana Grande and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the category at the Critics Choice Awards.With the win, Eilish inches closer to her first-ever Oscar.Following news of their Academy Award nomination in February, Eilish and Finneas released a statement to ET, saying, «Words cannot describe how honored and excited we are to have been nominated for an Academy Award for our song 'No Time To Die.' It was a lifelong dream of ours to write a Bond theme, and one we never thought would ever come true. It’s completely unbelievable that we are here being recognized for this song, and this is a peak life experience for us as songwriters and artists.

The 27th Annual Critics Choice Awards handed out their laundry list of honors on Sunday afternoon in a ceremony hosted by the incredible Nicole Byer and Taye Diggs. The Critics’ Choice never met an award they didn’t like and all in all handed out 41 trophies across both film and television.
