EXCLUSIVE: Charlotte Le Bon (Falcon Lake) has joined Season 3 of HBO‘s The White Lotus in a role that is being recast. She is replacing Francesca Corney, who had been originally tapped for the part, sources close to production tell Deadline. HBO would not comment but we hear that the producers felt they needed someone who played older. Details regarding the character are being kept under wraps.

However, an individual with knowledge of the situation can confirm his character is “integral to the twist and turns of this season’s investigation.” The three series leads remain Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez as true crime-obsessed neighbors that get caught up in real cases.

A new casting report from Variety has revealed that actor Kumail Nanjiani (“The Big Sick”) has nabbed a supporting role in the latest season of the series, which stars Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

Starring Lucy Lawless (“Top of the Lake,” “Spartacus,” “Xena: Warrior Princess”), the series’ brand new season rights have been secured by YLE Finland, TV2 Denmark, Quebecor Content Canada and Yes DBS Israel.
