Kirstie Allsop experienced "the most painful experience of [her] life" while filming the latest episode of Location, Location, Location. The presenter and property expert fell down a flight of pub stairs while filming the show.
Posting a message to Instagram from her bed, Allsop explained that the fall was so bad that paramedics had to be called to the pub in Stoke Newington, in London. She has since received an X-ray and a CT scan to check her injuries.
She said: "Yesterday when we were in a pub in Stoke Newington filming our start of day chat with our lovely house hunters Beth and Rory, I went off to the loo and, unfortunately, I got something wrong and I ended up falling down an entire flight of stairs.

"It was without a doubt the scariest and most painful thing I have ever done in my life. I feel enormously blessed to be here lying in bed and not having broken anything."
Although Allsop was left "bruised and battered" by the fall she said she was lucky not to have broken anything. She praised the paramedics who came to her rescue as well as the doctor who treated her.
The crew of Location, Location, Location were all on hand to help and made sure she didn't move in case her injuries were more serious. However, one member of the team found out about the incident before everyone else.
"I want to apologise to Reece our soundman who had his earphones on when I tumbled down an entire flight of stairs and heard everything," said Allsop. "And I want to apologise to Beth and Rory. Luckily Phil is stepping into the breach and on Friday
