Kimberley Walsh has discussed the possibility of appearing on Emmerdale, alongside her sister Amy Walsh who has appeared on the ITV soap as Tracy Metcalfe since 2014.The Girls Aloud star, 41, said that it's rather unlikely she'd appear in the soap for any length of time, however she did audition for a role once, however she sadly did not make the cut. And the pair aren't the only talented two in their family, their elder sister Sally Walsh also appeared in Emmerdale as Lyn Hutchinson from 1997 until 2000.

"It would be funny to go in for a couple of episodes, but that’s definitely Amy’s thing, and I’m happy to leave it to her. “Any soap is just so full-on and a lifestyle choice, which I just can’t really do right now.” It comes just a couple of weeks after Kimberley revealed that Girls Aloud will be reuniting to celebrate their legacy, almost exactly 10 years after splitting up and 20 years after forming.
She told the MailOnline: "20 years is a long time and the love that we still feel for Sound Of The Underground and some of the songs from the first album are still huge." She continued: "We've got some fun alternative versions of songs lying around and little re-releases just to kind of mark that because, you know, it's a big deal." Although the band will be re-releasing alternatives to their biggest hits, Kimberley did confirm they wouldn’t be creating any brand new material as a quartet, following the devastating death of bandmate Sarah Harding in 2021. Last year Kimberley discussed the loss of her former bandmate
