Kim Woodburn branded Kerry Katona "common as muck" in a fiery exchange on GB News as the pair discussed tattoos in the workplace. TV presenter Kim, 80, who is best known for presenting Channel 4's How Clean Is Your House?, made her feelings about 43 year old Kerry's collection of tattoos known during the debate on Tuesday 17 October. Mum-of-five Kerry vouched for tattoos becoming more acceptable in professional environments, saying they "represent you as a person" and also opened up about her own inkings, revealing that many of them have special meanings.
She told GB News: “Tattoos also represent you as a person. It's almost like saying you can't get hair highlights when you go into work, you can't wear your makeup." Kerry continued: "To me, I collect lots of art. My house is full of artwork.
I'm really into it, like this here on my arm.
This is my angel of my auntie who passed away.
That's a reminder for me. It tells a story.
This is about my bipolar, and strength, a reminder of me. I have my children's names tattooed on my wrists as reminder never to self-harm.
“There's so much more to a story than somebody just looking for attention. It is a good reminder of where somebody comes from, of who they want to be, and it's it's like saying to a man, ‘you can't wear makeup…I don't like the colour of your skin.” She went on to say that despite politicians all being tattoo-free she has "no confidence in them whatsoever" and added: "But it's not about how you look. It's about how good you are as a person from well inside.” However, Kim was quick to argue back and told Kerry her tattoos "look horrible" as the debate continued.
