Kendrick Lamar is taking over the stage at Studio 8H!
The 35-year-old rapper performed as the first musical guest of season 48 of Saturday Night Live on Saturday (October 1).

For his first performance, Kendrick performed a mashup of “Rich Spirit” and “N95.”
Later in the episode, Kendrick returned to the stage for his second performance, where he and Sampha performed “Father Time.”
All three songs are featured on Kendrick‘s fifth studio album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, which he released in May.

The event will mark the 10-year anniversary of the release of Lamar’s monumentally influential album, “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City” and will give fans with a special look at Lamar’s 65-date world tour in support of his latest release, “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.” Airing live on October 22 at 2 p.m. ET, fans will be able to watch the livestream for free exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, the Amazon Music channel on Twitch, and on the Amazon Music app. The stream will also feature sets from pgLang’s Tanna Leone and Grammy Award-winning recording artist, Baby Keem. Lamar’s performance will be available to view on-demand on Prime Video following the livestream event.

Kendrick Lamar has announced a reissue of his acclaimed second album, ‘Good Kid, M.A.A.D City’, celebrating its 10th anniversary with new physical version featuring a minimalistic cover and unique colourways.Physical copies of the new edition will start shipping out on October 21, one day shy of the album’s initial release date in 2012. It’ll be available on CD, matte grey cassette and two-disc vinyl (in a translucent “black ice” pressing), with the lattermost option also available to buy with the original cover art.The new cover takes the image of the black van shown on the front of the album’s original deluxe edition (released alongside the standard album on October 22, 2012), isolates it, and places it against a darker black background.At the time of writing, the release doesn’t look to feature any bonus tracks or additional material.
