Katie Price says ‘prison stint will revive her career’ after Mucky Mansion axe

Katie Price believes that a stint in prison would help revive her career after her latest Channel 4 reality show was axed.
The former glamour model, 45, previously admitted that she' would 'rather go to prison' than return to court again over her £3.2million debt. Katie was declared bankrupt in 2019 and had agreed to a payment plan with creditors to pay back £12,000 a month.
Katie recently described going to prison as a 'win-win' situation for her as she believes it will be good for her career. Speaking on Michelle Visage’s Rule Breaker podcast last week, Katie admitted that going to jail could be a good boost for her career.
Her home renovation show, Katie Price's Mucky Mansion, was recently axed by Channel 4.
She told podcast listeners: "I love all the prison stuff and I can experience what it’s like in there. I could do a story when I come out of ‘me in prison’, and it’s a win-win situation for me, isn’t it?
"It wouldn’t affect my job. I wouldn’t be in there long."
Katie is set to be questioned about her debts, and confessed on the podcast: "I have said, 'Can’t you just put me in prison just to cover it all? Just to be done with it’. I’m fed up with the reminders and why I’m in court.
"I genuinely don’t care if I go to prison because it’s done then. If they keep threatening me, just do it."
