Kate Garraway and her family marked Earth Day over the weekend by planting a magnolia tree in their garden. Kate, 55, explained that she’d been tending to plants with her two children’s grandad when the whole family appeared out of nowhere. The Good Morning Britain star’s fans were delighted by the fun family snaps she posted on social media, but were particularly happy to see Kate’s husband Derek Draper, who she cosied up to for a selfie.
Kate has been caring for Derek, also 55, since he contracted a severe case of coronavirus in 2020 but fans were quick to point out how well he looked. His and Kate’s two kids Billie and Darcy also got stuck into a bit of gardening and could be seen in the background of Kate’s post, along with their grandad.
