McKinley Franklin editor Asylum Entertainment Group has partnered with rocker Tom Morello for a first-look co-production deal with Morello’s recently formed company Comandante Productions, Variety can reveal exclusively.  Morello’s Comandante Productions and Asylum aim to build a portfolio of documentary films and series surrounding Morello’s history in the music industry, social consciousness and dedication to activism.  Morello, of course, is well-known for his work with both Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, two bands that have amassed more than 30 million album sales worldwide. He’s also a Grammy-winning artist and a recent Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee (as part of this year’s class of honorees).

Kate Middleton and her daughter Princess Charlotte looked identical as they posed at the King's Coronation, and not just because they were wearing matching outfits.The Princess of Wales, 41, and Princess Charlotte, 8, were photographed looking back over their left shoulder as they pulled the same serious facial expression.The similarity was pointed out by royal fans, as one person tweeted the two photos side by side and wrote: “The parallel between Princess Charlotte and her mum the Princess of Wales today!”. The crowds gathered at The Mall to catch a glimpse of their new King and Queen on the Buckingham Palace balcony, despite the rain. Prince William and Kate Middleton had all three of their children along for the ride as they left the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Following the end of the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, William and Kate walked out of the church with their two youngest children, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Princess Louis, 5. The Prince and Princess of Wales waited for their oldest son, Prince George, 9, to complete his duties as page before they all got into a coach reserved for their family.Inside the coach, where Kate, William and their kids followed the king and queen's procession to Buckingham Palace, the family was all smiles as they road past thousands of members of the public who were lined up to catch a glimpse of them. Louis had a cute moment, as he looked out the window and his father told him to give the crowd a wave.George and Charlotte proved they were pros when it came to waving to the public, as they were spotted doing just that as they passed. Not pictured in the coach with the family was Prince Harry.

Rage Against The Machine and Kate Bush have responded to the news that they are both part of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’s Class of 2023.The list of this year’s inductees was revealed earlier today, with George Michael, Sheryl Crow, rap innovator Missy Elliott, The Spinners, and country legend Willie Nelson also set to join the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.Kate Bush had previously been nominated three times, in 2018, 2021 and 2022. Rage Against The Machine, meanwhile, were on their fifth nomination, having been nominated more times than any of this year’s other shortlisted artists.“It is a surprising trajectory for us to be welcomed into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,” Rage Against the Machine said in a statement.

Never mind those who rode into the hall before her: A scan of the plaques on the walls in Cleveland may read like a discography of people Crow has already sung with over the last three decades.
