The new King met crowds on Union Street during a visit to Aberdeen Town House to meet families who have settled in Aberdeen from Afghanistan, Syria and Ukraine.

William and Kate announced on Monday's Newsbeat show that their discussion on the importance of mental health will be broadcast on Tuesday 11 October.The pair addressed listeners during the bulletin, with Kate teasing that "Newsbeat will sound slightly different" on Tuesday.

The Prince and Princess of Wales could be seen trying their hand at bartending in Northern Ireland on 6 October, with the pair creating their very own cocktails. Prince William, 40, and Kate, also 40, headed to the Trademarket outdoor market in Belfast after visiting the PIPS Suicide Prevention Ireland (PIPS Charity) earlier on in the day.

It was unknown whether George, nine, and his younger sister Charlotte, seven, would be taking up the same role during the procession to Windsor Castle from London as their names did not feature in the order of service. However, for the second time of the day, the young royals took their places walking alongside their mum Kate Middleton, 40, and Queen Consort Camilla, 75, while his grandfather King Charles III, 73, and father Prince William, 40, walked behind the monarch's coffin.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte were spotted arriving at Westminster Abbey to attend the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II today. Their parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton reportedly stepped in and pushed forward their wishes for their children to have a chance to say farewell to their great grandmother.

The King and Queen Consort hosted world leaders and official overseas guests at Buckingham Palace on Sunday 18 September. His Majesty, 73, and Camilla, 75, were also joined at the event by Kate Middleton and Prince William in what the King’s spokesman described as an “official state event”.
