Kanye West walked away from quite a pretty penny when he decided to bail out on Coachella! And now The Weeknd wants a piece of that action!

Kanye West, 44, is one of the biggest and richest rappers in the world, but he still left a lot of money behind when walking away from his upcoming Coachella gig. The talented artist was apparently going to be paid $8 million for the headlining performance and Coachella was also going to pay an additional $500,000 for production costs, according to sources at Page Six. The impressive amount still wasn’t able to hold Ye down though, as he cancelled his appearance less than two weeks before he was set to take the big stage.

Kendall Jenner has attended the Coachella music festival during its last few productions (it was sidelined in 2020 and 2021 over the pandemic). So, it comes as no surprise to fans if the model is keeping up to date with last-minute talent arrangements. But it may come as a bit of a shock when she comments on those that involve her former brother-in-law. Such is the case when Kanye West pulled out of headlining Coachella, only to be replaced by The Weeknd!
