Jussiee Smollett will not return for 'Empire' finale, Fox exec says

The Purple One was honoured with versions of 'Little Red Corvette', 'When Doves Cry' and 'Kiss'

Nearly four years after his death, Prince was honored Sunday night with a special all-star performance at the 62nd Grammy Awards that left some viewers scratching their heads.

Usher, Sheila E., and FKA twigs took to the 2020 Grammy Awards stage tonight, where they performed a tribute to the late Prince. Usher kicked off the performance in a sparkling waistcoat for a version of “Little Red Corvette.” He then went into renditions of “When Doves Cry,” and “Kiss.” Sheila E. supported on vocals and drums. FKA twigs danced but did not sing during the performance. They were joined by a slew of dancers and a backing band.

Fox declared in November that it had sold all the advertising time available in its looming February 2 broadcast of Super Bowl LIV. But just this week, it found a little more.

Laurence Fox has risked sparking further controversy by criticising Oscar-winning director Sam Mendes for including a Sikh soldier in his World War I drama 1917. 

A spectacular slate of musicians including FKA twigs, Syd, D’Angelo, Damon Albarn, and Erykah Badu, are set to appear on a new vinyl-only album by the largely anonymous producer Terry Slingbaum. The three-track album runs approximately 16 minutes, and will only be sold through vinyl pre-orders; per the Slingbaum website, there are no plans for the album to be released digitally or on streaming services.

Fox Television Stations has unveiled Fox Soul, an ad-supported streaming channel that blends original talk and lifestyle series with locally produced shows aimed at African American viewers.
