Manchester music icon Johnny Marr is bringing his legendary guitar to the score for the new James Bond film.
The former guitarist and co-songwriter for The Smiths has announced that he's teaming up with film score composer Hans Zimmer again - this time to pen the musical score for No Time To Die.
The 25th film in the 007 series, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, stars Daniel Craig in his final appearance as the British secret service agent.

James Bond made his way to Super Bowl LIV, debuting a new trailer for “No Time to Die.” The footage, putting the spotlight on Daniel Craig’s British spy, promises the 25th “Bond” movie will change everything.

Johnny Marr is working with Hans Zimmer on the score for the next James Bond film No Time to Die, NME reports and Marr’s representative confirmed to Pitchfork. Zimmer—who was recently announced to replace composer Dan Romer, three months before the release of the film—previously worked with the Smiths guitarist on films including Inception and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Marr has also performed live with the composer in years past.
