John Legend Praises Chrissy Teigen For ‘Destigmatizing’ IVF & Fertility Struggles

John Legend, Chrissy Teigen and the entire fam bam were all smiles on Thursday, and for good reason — they celebrated their daughter Luna's birthday at The Happiest Place on Earth!The GRAMMY-winning singer and his model wife rolled up to Disneyland with Luna, who turned 6, and their 3-year-old son, Miles. The «Green Light» singer donned a colorful flower button-up, Teigen threw on some Minnie Mouse ears over her head while Miles opted for a tie-dye hoodie.

Chrissy Teigen is a Hawaiian princess! The 36-year-old shared a cute photo to her Instagram on Friday showing off her beach-ready look, which included a black bikini top and mesh wrap skirt. She accessorized the look with numerous layers of thin gold necklaces and small studs and wore her chestnut brown locks up in a messy bun with a signature orange-colored flower.

Chrissy Teigen isn't comfortable doing everything in front of John Legend. In a conversation about motherhood with Chelsea Hirschhorn, the Founder + CEO of Frida, as well as Jeannie Mai Jenkins, Serena Williams and others, the 36-year-old model revealed the one thing she won't do in front of her husband, with whom she shares Luna, 5, and Miles, 3."[I have a] 16 year streak of no pooping in front of John," she revealed. «I’m gross about a lot of things, but this is the only one I hold on to.»That hasn't always worked out well for Teigen, though, as she revealed that, while delivering one of her children, «every single capillary in my face burst because I was trying to not poop on the table so badly.»Pregnancy in general resulted in some less than glamorous experiences for Teigen, who said that, if she «could give one pregnancy experience to John, it would be my vagina ripping to my butt.»«Seeing how John handles a stubbed toe, I know he would never be able to handle it,» she quipped.Being open about pregnancy moments that aren't picture perfect is important to Teigen, as she wants to better prepare women, many of whom only see «the perfection of Instagram,» for child birth.«The way to build confident people and mothers is by being able to commiserate and create a bond,» she said.

John Legend is sharing some words of encouragement for his wife Chrissy Teigen, praising her for demystifying the IVF treatment, as she has constantly shared her experience and struggles surrounding her in vitro fertilization journey.During his latest interview, the 43-year-old singer talked about their plans to expand their family, as they share 5-year-old daughter Luna, and 3-year-old son Miles, following Chrissy’s pregnancy loss in September 2020, and after her recent update, revealing she finished her last round of IVF and hopes to “make some strong, healthy embryos“.“I think it’s easier to let people know, ‘cause then you don’t have to hide what you’re going through. It’s a real experience,” John said, explaining why it’s important for people to know their experience.
