Country music singer Jimmie Allen is "publicly" apologizing to his estranged pregnant wife for "humiliating her with my affair" after his former manager sued him for alleged sexual abuse. On Thursday, Allen took to Instagram to share a statement, apologizing to Alexis Gale and their two children: Naomi, 3, and Zara, 1.  Allen also apologized to his oldest son, Aadyn, 8, who he has from a previous relationship. "I want to publicly apologize to my wife Alexis for humiliating her with my affair.

It's as much as he's said since Allen issued a statement to ET via his attorney, in which he vehemently denied the woman's allegations, which included sexual assault and harassment over the course of an 18-month period when she served as his day-to-day manager.The lawsuit came almost exactly two weeks after Allen and his estranged wife, Gale, filed for divorce.

Doe is now suing Allen, as well as her former employer, Wide Open Music and its founder, Ash Bowers.In the civil lawsuit against Allen, Bowers and Wide Open Music, filed in May 11 in Tennessee, Allen is being sued for “sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking and emotional distress; Bowers and Wide Open Music are being sued for gross negligence and participating in a venture engaged in sex trafficking, among other counts,” as per Variety.In a statement to Variety, Allen denies the accusations and claims he had a consensual sexual relationship with his day-to-day manager.“It is deeply troubling and hurtful that someone I counted as one of my closest friends, colleagues and confidants would make allegations that have no truth to them whatsoever,” the musician said in a statement.“I acknowledge that we had a sexual relationship — one that lasted for nearly two years.

Variety.Allen called the allegations in a statement to Variety false, “deeply troubling and hurtful.” He admitted to a sexual relationship with the woman and says it was consensual. Earlier this year he announced that he was separating from his wife, Alexis Gale, whom he married in 2021.Since the lawsuit was revealed, Allen has been dropped by his agency UTA, his management firm The Familie and his publicist.

Other action has been swift. Allen has been dropped as the commencement speaker for tomorrow’s Delaware State University’s 2023 graduation. A press release from the university said that Allen, a Delaware native, had been replaced as commencement speaker by congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester.
