Elsa Keslassy International Correspondent French actor-director Nicolas Bedos has been placed in police custody in Paris following a police complaint filed by a woman for an alleged sexual assault, Variety has confirmed. The alleged incident occurred during the night of June 1 in a Parisian club where Bedos allegedly put his hand on the crotch of the woman who was wearing jeans, according to news agency AFP, which reported that it had access to the police complaint. Bedos’ attorney Julia Minkowski declined to comment. A source close to Bedos told French journalists that if such act had occurred, it had to be “accidental.” Bedos has been in custody since Wednesday afternoon.

William Earl Tenoch Huerta, who starred in “Black Panther 2,” has exited the upcoming Netflix film “Fiesta en la Madriguera” after a sexual assault claim was made against him. Pam Joy Abeyta, Lili Bernard, Rebecca Cooper, Janice Dickinson, Lise-Lotte Lublin, Linda Kirkpatrick, Janice Baker Kinney, Angela Leslie and Heidi Thomas are named in the case. Cosby was convicted of a criminal sexual assault charge in Pennsylvania in April 2018. However, in 2021, the actor was released from prison after spending nearly three years behind the bars; the conviction was overturned by the state Supreme Court. The actor, now 85 years old, has discussed plans for a comedy tour.

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann is being investigated by prosecutors in Berlin, following multiple allegations of sexual assault.According to Agence France-Presse (via Barron’s), the investigation follows several women coming forward, claiming that they were drugged and prepositioned for non-consensual sex acts at various Rammstein shows.“Preliminary proceedings have been initiated against Till Lindemann on allegations relating to sexual offences and the distribution of narcotics,” said a spokeswoman. She also claimed that the inquest was started at their own will, and that no further comments would be issued so as not to hinder the investigation.In a statement to Agence France-Presse, the frontman denied all claims, and labelled the accusations as being “without exception untrue”.The allegations against Lindemann first arose last month, when a 24-year-old named Shelby Lynn claimed that a supposed “casting director” invited her to sit in a “row zero” section at the band’s show in Vilnius, Lithuania.Documented on social media, she claimed that someone led her beneath the stage and the singer later made an advance towards her.
