Jessie J has welcomed her first child!
The 35-year-old “Bang Bang” pop star took to social media on Friday (May 19) to confirm that she had given birth to a son.
In the process, she provided an update on how they were doing and what it’s been like for her to adjust to motherhood.

Jessie shared the update on her Instagram story, implying that her son was born on May 12.
“A week ago my whole life changed,” she wrote. “My son entered the world and my heart grew twice the size. The feeling is indescribable. I am flying in love. He is magic. He is all my dreams come true. He is my whole [world].”
She continued, providing an update on their health, saying, “He and I are both doing great. I am soaking up every second and still can’t believe he is real, here and mine. I am so grateful phew.”
“For all of you that have followed my journey to this moment, thank you for all your continued support,” she added.
Jessie is taking a bit of a break from social media. She promised to be back “when I’m ready.”

The pop star announced that she was expecting back in January. Since then, she’s kept fans up to date with what being pregnant has been like. Earlier this month she even joked that people were acting like she’d been pregnant for 17 years.
