If you don’t know, the awards show took place last night (February 26), live in Los Angeles. When Jessica won, she tripped while walking up the stairs to the stage, and she’s now reacting to what happened and explaining why she tripped.

She told People she was “a little embarrassed. I tripped on the stairs — but I had two very handsome men helping me up so that wasn’t so bad.” One of the men who helped her was Paul Mescal, who you can see assisting in the pics below.
“I was trapped in my [Zuhair Murad] dress and I had very nice men helping me, so that was a plus,” Jessica told ET afterwards about what happened as she was getting up the steps to accept her award.
