Jeremy Vine presenter Storm Huntley hit back at an online Twitter troll who called her a "silly girl with a silly name".
Storm, 34, clapped back on social media after someone responded to her post about her exciting new show with the nasty reply.
The Glasgow -born presenter shared the exciting news earlier this week that she's set for her own Channel 5 show, Jeremy Vine Extra, which will follow the original programme at 11:15am every day.
But delighted Storm's good mood was almost ruined when a Twitter user tried to rain on her parade.
The official Jeremy Vine Twitter account also shared the good news.
The Jeremy Vine Show announcement read: "From Wednesday, the conversation gets livelier. Jeremy Vine Extra is coming to @Channel5_tv with @StormHuntley - giving you an extra hour, extra debates, and extra discussions of the biggest stories. Join Storm every weekday morning for a little bit extra."
As she shared her good news on Twitter, writing: "I am unbelievably excited about this…"
To which the troll replied: "Storm Huntley is a silly little girl with a silly name."
But the Scots presenter had the last laugh as she mocked his username: "Says Bob the Builder"
Other than this user, fans rushed to the comments of Storm's post to praise the presenter on her achievement.
One wrote: "Congratulations. Not at all surprised. You deserve your own show. First of many I'm sure. Good luck!"
"Congrats. Time you had your own show. The name needs a bit of work though," said another.
Someone else penned: "Great news. & good luck Storm. Always thought the show was too short.x."
The former weather girl, from Bishopbriggs, is a huge draw for viewers and stands in for main host Jeremy when he is on holiday.
