Many high profile figures have been named as associates of Jeffrey Epstein after sealed court documents were made public.
Some of the big names on the list include Prince Andrew, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Jackson, and politicians Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
While rumours of "clients” or “co-conspirators" being named in the highly anticipated list started when plans to release names were announced, the judge said records would be released because much of the information was already in the public domain.
As reported in the Mirror, many of Epstein’s accusers, members of his staff who told their stories to tabloid newspapers and people who served as witnesses at Maxwell’s trial were named in the records.
Also named were people who were mentioned in passing during depositions but aren’t accused of anything salacious and people who investigated Epstein, including prosecutors, a journalist and a police detective.
Actors Cate Blanchett, Naomi Campbell, Cameron Diaz, Leonardo DiCaprio and Bruce Willis are named alongside former director of the FBI Louis Freeh and politicians Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.
Magician David Copperfield and late physicist Stephen Hawking are also mentioned.
Billionaire Epstein was known for associating with celebrities, politicians, billionaires and academic stars. In 2005, he was accused of paying a girl, 14, for sex and he was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida.
While dozens of other underage girls told of similar sexual abuse, in 2008 prosecutors allowed the financier to plead guilty to one charge involving a single victim. He served 13 months in a jail work-release program.
