Janey Godley said she's determined not to worry too much as she awaits the results of her chemo treatment.
The Scots comedian has been documenting her cancer journey online and after completing her scheduled course of chemotherapy recently, she now has to wait and see if it was successful.
Earlier this week the star had a scan to determine whether she's gone into remission and the results are due in just under a fortnight.
But she says she has made a "conscious decision" not to stress too much in the meantime.
Janey told fans on Twitter yesterday: "I have made a conscious decision not to worry about the scan results, it won’t change the outcome but when I approach that doctors door in 13 days I will spend those minutes worrying like absolute f*** - until then I am eating cakes and drinking coffee."
Janey had a hysterectomy at the start of the year, but still had to have six rounds of chemo as the cancer had progressed to stage 3b.
Writing on Instagram, she said: "Scan done just fingers crossed for the results next month."
Fans sent her messages of support in the comments.
One wrote: "Fingers and toes crossed for you."
Another added: "Sending lots of love."
While one said: "Sending love and hugs good luck."
Another commented: "All hope, best wishes and hugs x."
Janey has admitted previously that she cannot stop worrying about her future and her health.
She said: "The constant fear of waking up in anxiety, the horrible knowledge that cancer will be a part of my life until I die now is overwhelming, I accept I must be brave but is bravery simply being alive and pushing down all the fears to get through the next hour? I’m scared.
She added: "Hopefully on June 13th the scan will reveal I am in remission - until then I will worry
