Jamie Foxx is slowly getting back to normal.
As Perezcious readers will recall, the 55-year-old actor suffered a “medical emergency” this week, and was rushed to a hospital to go under a doctor’s care. As we reported several days ago, the star was being closely monitored by health care professionals after experiencing an as-yet-unreleased “medical complication” which necessitated him being admitted for care.

Now, we can report that things are apparently starting to look up for the star. According to People, the Day Shift actor is said to be “steadily improving” right now under the watchful eye of hospital staffers.
The mag still doesn’t have much to go on as far as what caused this scary situation in the first place. As the outlet noted in their Friday night report, Foxx’s family members still have yet to share details about what caused this emergency.
As we reported back on Thursday, the actor’s 29-year-old daughter Corinne Foxx shared a brief statement first revealing the Back In Action star’s health concerns and asking for privacy for his loved ones:
