Jamie Campbell-Bower is showing fans a different side of Vecna.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show on Tuesday (August 2), the 33-year-old actor was tasked with doing some impressions as his Stranger Things character Vecna.
The bit involved him repeating lines from Notting Hill and Titanic, as well as some lyrics from Lizzo‘s “About Damn Time.”

Jamie revealed during his chat with host Jimmy Fallon that Vecna’s voice underwent a series of changes before he started working on the show. He’d initially gone for a nasally, Freddy Kruger-esque voice at the table read, which Jamie said “wasn’t landing.”
“So I went home and worked on it, did a bunch of reference work on Hellraiser and Doug Bradley particularly. And it said that, this deep booming voice comes out of the darkness,” he recalled. “I loved it.”
He also shared that is Vecna costume was “about 90% real,” so it took him about 8 hours to put the character’s prosthetics on. “We start at like 3am in the morning to be ready for about 10am,” Jamie said.
