Jack Black to receive Comedic Genius award at 2022 MTV Movie & TV Awards

Jessica Chastain is at the top of her acting game if last night's Tony Awards are anything to go by, and yet, proving she's a woman of many talents, she also killed it on the red carpet. The 75th annual Tony Awards, held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, gathered some of the most esteemed names in American theatre, including Lea Michele, Vanessa Hudgens and Jennifer Hudson.

Ben Platt, Molly Gordon and Amy Sedaris have signed up to lead the cast of “Theater Camp,” a feature adaptation of Nick Lieberman’s 2020 short film of the same name.“Booksmart” and “Shiva Baby” star Gordon will make her directorial debut alongside Lieberman, who has helmed a number of video shorts and music videos for Platt, the award-winning star of “Dear Evan Hansen.” Gordon, Lieberman, Platt and co-star Noah Galvin (“Booksmart”), who wrote the short film together, will write the screenplay. The foursome will partner with composer Mark Sonnenblick (“Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile”) on original music.Set in upstate New York, the film revolves around the eccentric staff of a rundown theater camp that threatens to fall apart when its beloved founder falls into a coma right before the start of the summer session.

Netflix has revealed the full voice cast for Entergalactic, the adult-animated music series based on the upcoming album of the same name by rapper, singer and actor Kid Cudi. The series hails from Kenya Barris and Scott Mescudi, better known by his stage name Kid Cudi. Joining Kid Cudi in the voice cast are Jessica Williams (Love Life), Timothée Chalamet (Dune), Ty Dolla $ign, Laura Harrier (Hollywood), Vanessa Hudgens (Tick, Tick…Boom!), Christopher Abbott (Kraven the Hunter), 070 Shake, Teyana Taylor (Coming 2 America), Jaden Smith (After Earth), Keith David (From Scratch), Arturo Castro (Yes Day) and Macaulay Culkin (American Horror Story).
