It's almost that time of year again as I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returns to screens with another batch of fresh-faced celebs entering the Australian jungle to face their worst nightmares and tackle the challenges thrown at them in camp.
The latest series of the ITV show has been thrown into chaos at the last minute however as one celebrity has reportedly 'dropped out' from taking part last minute as another star has been asked to step in and complete the 2023 line-up.
Bosses had reportedly been scrambling around behind the scenes to fill the unnamed campmate's place, as This Morning's Gyles Brandreth let slip he has been contacted by I'm A Celeb bosses this week asking him to pack his bags.
Speaking on the breakfast programme on Friday, the Gogglebox star said he turned down the offer but admitted producers must be 'desperate' to find someone as they contacted so last minute, according to reports in the Mirror.
He revealed: "I was asked again this year. What is interesting is that they're obviously talking to people very last minute because I was asked again only this week. So maybe somebody dropped out and they were desperate. They drop you in and you walk a long that little bridge."
Fellow This Morning co-star Josie Gibson has also been rumoured to be entering the jungle for this year's series after it was reported she was banned from Strictly Come Dancing after being asked to free her up to star on ITV's reality series.
Other names tipped to be entering the show this year include former Love Island star Olivia Attwood who was forced to pull out of the 2022 series.
