ITV's Good Morning Britain has sparked intrigue after 'snubbing' Ben Shephard in a social media post marking the show's 10th anniversary, following his departure from GMB.
The morning programme celebrated the milestone with an Instagram post that seemed to overlook Ben, despite his significant role since the show's inception in 2014 before he transitioned to This Morning.
The caption read: "10 years have flown by! Let's look back at some of our presenters through the years."
The post featured images of various hosts including Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway, Charlotte Hawkins, Richard Madeley, Ranvir Singh, Martin Lewis, Laura Tobin, Richard Arnold and Adil Ray.

Piers' son Spencer queried: "Where's the main one? " Similarly, a viewer noted, "I know you did not just leave Piers Morgan and Ben Shepherd out, they were the reason I started watching that show in the first place."

However, damage control soon ensued when several video snippets of Laura Tobin and a reminisce of Ben's days on the show were posted, presumably as an appeasement for the alleged oversight. The post, under the banner "How do you fit 10 years into 90 seconds! #10yearsofgmb" saw Ben expressing his enduring bond to what he calls his GMB 'family', during his talk with OK! at the Variety Club Showbusiness Awards.
His presence there was not just to bask in the glow of their success but also to give a shout out to Kate Garraway, who claimed an award that night.
He said: "Kate's getting an award tonight so I thought it'd be good to come along to support her and celebrate that. I'm very much still part
