The Love Island villa which featured on the original series of the hit ITV show has sold for an eye-watering £3 million. The luxury mansion where the series one and two islanders lived for six weeks has been snapped up by a buyer after being on the market for a year.
The five-bed property was once home to contestants Olivia and Alex Bowen and Nathan and Cara Delahoyde-Massey - who found love and fame in the villa on season two of the show in 2016. Both couples are now happily married, with Olivia and Alex expecting a baby this year and Nathan and Cara already parents to their two children.
The huge property which boasts a beach-style outdoor pool has been on the market for nearly a year but was bought two weeks ago, reports The Mirror.

A source reportedly told The Sun : "It was taken off the market about two weeks ago. It sold for near its asking price.”
The mansion overlooks stunning sea views off Majorca's southern coast. As well as five bedrooms, it has five bathrooms and a whirlpool in the garden. For the colder months it has underfloor heating and a balcony terrace ideal for sunbathing.
The Mirror says that Love Island bosses are currently on the hunt for a new villa for the 2022 series after wanting a change of scenery from the current pad.
ITV boss Kevin Lygo told PA Media: “We didn’t own it, we rented it, and we are choosing a new house for this summer so that is all secrecy. It is going to be marvellous.
