Love Island stars Toby Aromolaran and Georgia Steel have ended their relationship after striking up a romance on the ITV show's All Stars series. While the pair briefly dated before the show, they explored their connection on All Stars and made it all the way to the final. Georgia confirmed the news to The Sun, revealing that the break-up took her "by complete surprise".
She said: "After seeing the reports regarding my relationship with Toby I feel it’s only right for me to be transparent and truthful with you all. "It is true Toby has called things off. It has taken me by complete surprise and I’m still trying to process it and come to terms with it all.
"They say some people are in your life for a lifetime and some just for a chapter," the 25-year-old said. Earlier on Wednesday 20th March, the couple sparked rumours of a split when Georgia shared a cryptic post on Instagram. Georgia only recently spoke about her relationship with Toby in a chat with OK!, revealing that they hadn't become an official couple yet.
"We haven’t had that discussion. We were in the situation of Love Island, which isn’t a normal situation, and in the real world you’re just, kind of, together," she said. "Toby knows I’m the kind of girl who would want to be asked.
So, I’m waiting!" She added that the couple had chosen not to move in together straight away, with Georgia living in York and Toby based in London. "We’re just still getting to know each other at the moment. "We’ve both done Love Island previously and moved in together with our partners from then [Georgia with Sam Bird and Toby with Chloe Burrows] – and everything was really quick and intense.
