This Morning star Josie Gibson has revealed how she's "broken so many bones" while drunk, including her arm and ankle. Yet the 38 year old TV presenter said that former politician Nigel Farage could top that, because he was "run over". Speaking on Sunday's episode of I'm A Celebrity...
Get Me Out Of Here! on 3 December, Josie revealed to the camp: “I’ve broken so many bones when I’ve been drunk. I had a house party and I decided to play combat rolling over the sofa. The TV star hilariously added: "I broke my arm in so many places… Instead of going to the hospital, I just left it and put a pillow over it for the rest of the party.
By the time I did actually go to the hospital, because I was so hanging, they had to re-break it." Yet her horrific injuries haven't stopped there, as Josie continued: "Then I fell out of a nightclub and broke my ankle.” Josie had been celebrating her engagement to her then-boyfriend Luke Sanwo when she fell in her high heels. Nigel then said: “Josie, I can top all of that - I got run over!” And Josie replied: “Nige, I’ve never known anyone like it: You’ve been in a car accident, you’ve got run over, you’ve been in an aeroplane accident.” Nigel laughed: “Still here!” with Josie saying: “You’ve got nine lives!” In a biography of his life, called One Party After Another: The Disruptive Life of Nigel Farage, author Michael Crick wrote how Nigel has cheated death up to four times. One of these incidents included being hit by a Volkswagen Beetle in 1985 on a pelican crossing.
He was thrown into the air, and landed on his head on the curb in 1985. He spent two months in hospital, and his leg remained in cast for a year, but he lived to tell the tale. A plane crash in 2010 also left Nigel very badly
