Adil Ray has come under fire from Good Morning Britain viewers as an old habit came back to haunt him. The presenter and actor returned to the ITV news programme on Thursday (October 20) alongside Kate Garraway. Much of the talk was centred on the ongoing government chaos as Liz Truss continues to fight for her job.
Adil and Kate were joined on the latest edition of the show by Kirsty Buchanan, the former advisor to Liz Truss, and former political adviser to senior Labour Party politicians, Ayesha Hazarika, about the shocking events that unfolded in the House of Commons on Wednesday. It came after the Government won a vote in Parliament on fracking it had earlier told Tory MPs it was treating as a confidence vote.
As well as the unfolding turmoil in the Tory goverment, the GMB hsots and their guests also discussed the latest reports on the energy crisis, with Ayesha labelling it a "car crash". But as she tried to give her views on the home secretary Suella Braverman resigning, she was interrupted by both Kate and Adil.

Kate, 55, said: "To be fair to her, she is sticking to the manifesto the government was elected on by the people, by keeping those rules stricter. We're in a situation now where the Home Secretary resigns by sticking to her personal beliefs." But Ayesha cut in: "The thing is, Kate, there's a thing called collective responsibility. So you're not there to freelance giving it a big one about your own personal feelings."
Adil tried to interrupt his guest by putting his hand up, before she continued: "The other thing which is really important here, is she humiliated herself the day
