Such as: Friday Night Project, Celebrity Ding Dong and most famously he fronted his own comedy chat show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, which aired on Channel 4 between 2009 and 2016.
Alan Carr was born on June 14, 1976, and is an English comedian and TV star. He was born in Weymouth, Dorset, but spent most of his childhood in Northampton before moving in his early 20s to Manchester, where he began his comedy career. In the years that followed, his career flourished.
He had his big breakthrough in 2001, when he won the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Awards. Alan also appeared on the celebrity edition of the Great British Bake Off in 2018 as well as presented Channel 4's coverage of Crufts - he was also offered a spot on the 2019 series of Strictly, but did not take the offer on. While his TV presence has flourished Alan also met his long-term partner, Paul Drayton, who is a party planner and actor - the pair married in 2018.
Sadly, in January 2022 the TV star split from his husband Paul Drayton - Carr is currently single and does not have any children. They had been together for 13 years and married for three. Its claimed break-up comes as Paul, 50, faces jail for drink-driving following a public battle with alcoholism.
