Emmerdale fans saw the return of a familiar face as they tuned into the latest installment of the ITV soap. Fans already knew that Danny Miller was reprising his role as Aaron Dingle and the character was seen for the first time during Monday night's episode (October 3) since his emotional exit last year.
Aaron left the Yorkshire village last year after his half-sister Liv Flaherty was wrongly jailed for the murder of Ben Tucker. Liv's now-husband Vinny Dingle stood by her side and pursued in trying to clear her name and it was later revealed to the villagers that Meena Jutla was responsible for Ben's death and that she was, in fact, a serial killer.
Meanwhile, Danny headed off into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here castle, where he emerged as the winner, shortly after welcoming his first child, baby son Albert, with his now-wife Steph.

But it appears not much has actually changed for Aaron as he arrived back at the home he shared with his sister to be confronted by a mystery man and find Liv sprawled out on the floor. And it wasn't long before Aaron was caught up in a fight with bad guy Terry who had just attacked Liv after she uncovered his and her mum Sandra's ploy to steal her money.
And just as Aaron started to swing for Terry, PC Harriet Finch arrived and was soon taking him to the station for questioning over the incident while Liv was taken to hospital in a worrying condition. Later, after being released, Aaron tried to see his sister but Vinny ordered him to leave.
He told Aaron that Liv doesn't need him anymore and in no uncertain terms that she's done with him after he abandoned her at her time of need.
