Emmerdale fans think they have spotted an error after Manpreet Sharma failed to spot Alex Moore in the doctor's surgery after she inadvertently foiled his plot to steal the supply of medical drugs. It was revealed earlier this week that Alex is just using Naomi Walters and faking a romance between the pair in order to steal from the medical centre and pay back a drug debt.
While at the home Manrpeet shares with Charles Anderson and his daughter, Alex overheard Manpreet's phone call about the surgery's drug delivery and was soon seen by viewers of the ITV soap making his own phone call. And after secretly meeting with real girlfriend Clare, who he pretended to Naomi was a friend after being spotted together by Belle Dingle, his plan to rob the doctor's surgery was revealed.
During Wednesday night's trip to the Dales, Alex prepared to execute his plan as the doctor's surgery was closed due to the electrics being vandalised. Alex was seen stealing Manpreet’s surgery keys from her bag before going and letting himself in, armed with a crowbar to get into the locked drug cupboards.

But he was interrupted when Manpreet, having borrowed Wendy Posner's keys, headed to the centre to pick up her laptop charger. Manpreet was left puzzled to find the front door already opened and phoned colleague Liam Cavanagh with concern. She then headed to her office, unaware that Alex was inside.
He managed to hide behind the curtain in the room and despite being unnerved after hearing a rustle suggesting someone else was in the room, Manpreet stopped short of pulling back the curtain, behind which Alex was hiding with his crowbar
