Coronation Street saw the return of Strictly Come Dancing star Will Mellor as soap villain Harvey Gaskell in chilling scenes. In Monday night's episode (October 17) Leanne Battersby visited drugs lord Harvey in prison after she and partner Nick Tilsley received visiting orders.
A year ago Harvey shot and killed Natasha Blakeman, the mother of Nick's 11-year-old son Sam, believing her to be Leanne. In a case of mistaken identity, after escaping from a prison van to seek revenge, Harvey gunned down Natasha in Leanne and Nick's flat.
Harvey terrorised Leanne after she helped police to expose his gang in order to protect her son Simon Barlow who was working for him. As Nick and Sam prepared to mark the anniversary of Natasha’s death, Leanne said she was going to the cash and carry.

Corrie fans disagreed as they flocked to Twitter, with some thinking Sam had every right to see Harvey and others saying it was a terrible idea. @itzzzo_defended: "Sam asking why is Leanne allowed to go and he’s not… maybe cause Sam’s 11 and wants to face the man who killed his mom?"
@CxxPIPxx tweeted: "It's making me cringe how tone deaf Nick and Leanne are regarding Sam and the potential damage that could cause him." And @KingOfSunshine said: "I LOVE
