Coronation Street fans have wasted no time in pointing out problems with baby Alfie's 'life mentors'. The son of Imran Habeeb and Abi Franklin has caused quite the drama on the cobbles of the ITV soap in his short life so far.
The little one made a surprise appearance earlier this year when Abi went into labour weeks early at the side of a road amid a drug and booze binge after not knowing she was even pregnant. Luckily, Alfie has been thriving and was able to leave the hospital last week.
However, it has been plain sailing for his warring parents who have been fighting for custody of the tot. After Imran got paralegal Ben to get evidence former drug addict Abi, played by Sally Carman, is on drugs again, the solicitor used him as a witness in court after he spotted Abi with her old drug dealer mate, Dean, who approached her and asked for money, which she gave him to keep him off her back.

The misleading photos didn't help Abi's case and Imran and new wife Toyah Battersby were awarded custody. The mum, who is still grieving the loss of eldest child Seb Franklin, was devastated but isn't one to give up without a fight and after becoming suspicious of Ben, followed him and spotted him doing his own drug deal.
But her threats to share her evidence backfired. Despite Ben agreeing to change what he said to the court, during Monday's trip to Weatherfield (May 16) fans and Abi found out that Ben didn't stay true to his word and revealed he'd be staying silent after all because Imran had offered him full-time employment as his and Adam Barlow's assistant.
Abi later turned up at the baby-naming ceremony that Toyah had organised
