She left in early 2001, just before the group had real chart success. She quit the group after just one single to go solo. In 2007 the Birmingham born star joined BBC Radio 1 Extra as a presenter alongside Trevor Nelson but quit to relocate to the States and marry Chicago Fire Soccer Club player Cory Gibbs.
Su-Elise, 40, was been studying for a business degree at Middlesex University when she joined the band founded by pals Sabrina and Alesha at Dance Attic Studios in Fulham, London. Deciding to focus her attention on music, the singer soon dropped out of her course. However, after Mis-Teeq called it quits, Su-Elise went back to studying, earning teaching qualifications, and has since opened her own performing arts school called the "Su-Elise Stage School" based in Gravesend, Kent.
After Mis-Teeq, Sabrina released her debut single, "OMG (Oh My Gosh)", and a second song called "Lock Down" in 2010. But before then, in 2009, it was revealed she was heading to the jungle as one of the celebrating taking part in ITV's reality show, I'm A Celebrity. .
. Get Me Out Of Here. Most recently though, in October 2019, she made her television comeback on the hip-hop, comedy panel show "Don't Hate the Playaz", with Maya Jama, Lady Leshurr and Ms Banks.
