Christmas may have landed right at start of the week this year but if you've turned on the TV and jumped to ITV, you may be wondering what the day is and if you have completely skipped over Christmas as some of the network's best-loved shows continue to air.
Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary have returned to screens with a new episode of This Morning. They have been joined by fellow co-star Josie Gibson for a very special festive edition of the popular daytime show.
Some of the presenters actually said their goodbyes for the year to viewers only a few days ago while Alison hasn't been at the helm of the show for a few weeks due to her commitment to starring in pantomime in Birmingham. The show has continued to rotate its hosting line-up with the likes of Craig Doyle, Mollie King, Rylan Clark and Lisa Snowdon stepping in.

But for the past four years, ITV has delivered a special two-hour edition of This Morning packed with treats and this year's show is no exception featuring festive favourites such as well as famous guests which this year include Gregory Porter, Brian Conely and Brenda Blethyn.
The show will head ‘Down Under’ to speak with British expats wanting to wish their families a Merry Christmas and meet Neighbours legend Alan Fletcher - aka Carl Kennedy.
Once Chef John Torode is on hand with top tips on how viewers can upgrade their Christmas dinner while Alexandre Burke is also set to perform.
Viewers will also get to see Santa Claus himself and an unforgettable Lapland adventure with some Make-A-Wish UK families before Alison, Dermot, Josie, Craig and Gyles give and receive presents from
