the New York Post. Nicholas Carson was filmed in the compromising position amid the news website’s labor strike. According to the Post, last Friday Carson was seen removing the flyers from lamp posts in the Windsor Terrace neighborhood of Brooklyn.
The video, which begins with four people confronting him, shows that Carson was stuffing the flyers into the basket of his Citi Bike.“Are you recording me right now?” Carson asks. After one of the people reveals they’re a reporter, Carson cuts her off with a forced smile and says, “You’re not my reporter.”“Well, I guess it depends on how you look at it. I work in the newsroom,” she said.“It’s not my newsroom,” Carson says before another former Insider employee speaks up.
“I’m not your reporter anymore because you laid me off. And guess what? You laid off everyone on the crypto team,” they fire back. The video ends with Carson biking away from the group.
“Nich was alarmed to see the posters – which were aimed at him personally – plastered all over his neighborhood, including around his seven-year-old son’s school,” a spokesperson for Insider told TheWrap. “To be clear, Nich is not responsible for Insider Inc’s selection of healthcare providers. He looks forward to having union members back at work soon.” Shortly after the Insider strike started, union members covered Brooklyn’s Windsor Terrace and Park Slope — where both Carson and Insider CEO Henry Blodget live — with flyers.

Dead and Company have just eight concerts left on their massive 2023 Farewell Tour with John Mayer before hanging it up for good. And if you missed Bobby Weir, Mickey Hart and the boys at Citi Field on June 21-22, we’re here to fill you in with a full account of the show courtesy of the New York Post’s resident Deadhead, Ryan Murphy.Murphy attended night two at Citi Field on June 22 and said the Mets stadium was “crazy packed.”He had floor seats and a “great side view.”At his show, there were no guest artists — besides Mayer of course — and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band played two sets which included covers of Traffic’s “De›ar Mr. Fantasy” and The Beatles’ “Hey Jude” along with Ryan’s favorite, the 1978 classic “Fire On The Mountain” from their “Shakedown Street” album wailed by bassist Oteil Burbridge. He added that Weir’s best that evening was “Mama Tried” and Mayer peaked with “Alabama Getaway.”“That’s just my opinion though,” he was quick to note.Over the course of the nearly four-hour set (!), the band kept their banter to a minimum; according to Ryan “they kept it all about the music and their farewell.”Murphy, 31, was also excited to see fans of all ages including “older people jamming out” and “people in the 25-35 age range.”If you’re planning on attending one of the final gigs at Boulder, CO’s Folsom Field Stadium, George, WA’s Gorge Amphitheater or San Francisco, CA’s Oracle Park (where they got their start), Murphy has a few tips.“Definitely arrive early,” he said.
Matt Donnelly Senior Film Writer Pearls were clutched all over Hollywood on Monday in the wake of an unlikely press beef – United Talent Agency CEO Jeremy Zimmer and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. On a media spree at the Cannes Lions for the past week, Zimmer was asked about the recent meltdown of a $20 million multi-year deal Meghan and husband Prince Harry signed with Spotify in 2020. The pact produced a single series, “Archetypes,” which was not renewed. The termination of the deal was announced June 15. “Turns out Meghan Markle was not a great audio talent, or necessarily any kind of talent,” Zimmer told Semafor at the marketing festival in the South of France. “And, you know, just because you’re famous doesn’t make you great at something.”

Lisa Kennedy Fashionista Jenna Jones (Gabrielle Union) took quite the tumble from her position in New York’s world of style. In “The Perfect Find” — Netflix’s visually vibrant, cinema-loving, if not quite perfect, rom-com — her professional and romantic plummet is documented in opening credits that cleverly use an animated collage to relate her story. So, when we meet Jenna in person ,she’s without a job, and her man (D.B. Woodside) of 10 years has moved on … or so it seems. The 40-year-old is sporting baggy sweats, and not because she’s headed to the gym. She’s been living in her parents’ home licking her wounds, for a year, when her mother calls her out on it. The scene between mother (Janet Hubert) and grown-ass daughter is amusing and promising. As are the musical and visual choices director Numa Perrier makes that evoke Old Hollywood in a film with characters decidedly not Old Hollywood.
