ITV'S Dancing on Ice will return to screens this weekend and Corrie fans will be excited to hear that former actor Ryan Thomas is included in this year's line up.
The 39-year-old, who is best known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street, will take to the ice with his pro skater partner Amani Fancy.
Ryan is no stranger to the limelight, having also starred in Neighbours and winning the twenty second series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2018.
Despite announcing his retirement from acting in 2021 after confessing he had "really lost the bug for it", the Manchester star appears to be continuing on with his television career as he prepares himself for Dancing on Ice 2024 which will launch on Sunday January 14.
Since quitting acting, Ryan appears to have been enjoying some quality time with his fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh and their two kids who moved into their brand new family home in Manchester at the end of last year.
However, things have not all gone smoothly for the dad-of-three in recent years after he was accused of physical assault in the Big Brother house by fellow co-star Roxanne Pallett.
Emmerdale actress Roxanne claimed that Ryan had been 'repeatedly and deliberately punching' her while play-fighting before her allegations were later confirmed to be entirely false.
